My first PC was a Commodore Vic20 with a tape drive and it took a half hour to load games, and my first console was the Atari 2600 or maybe it was Pong (now I am dating myself)....

Gordon...you are dead on about ASUS support site.....I work in a PC support role and I frequently have to do rebuilds, and downloading a motherboard driver from Asus is a painful experience....so yea I agree...anyone that works for Asus fix your fuckin' support site and open up some bandwidth...I am sure you can afford it.....

I believe the connector on that DELL D600 that the caller had fun with in your doctor section is a proprietary connector that DELL uses for a dongle to break out video (S-Video and composite) and digital sound to connect to external sources such as a 5.1 A/V receiver....at least that is what is on my Dell D800…..

This is great news....we have been waiting for electronic copies for years...now I can recycle my back issues and make more room in my basement...believe it or not...I do refer to articles a few years back....thanks again and put as many back issues as you can on the web site….

I guess I should check my local laws...I am in Canada, but we could have even crazier laws....I frequently connect to these free WiFi hot spots. If I lived in Sparta MI, I would probably be a harden criminal..LOLOLO...seriously though back in 1979 I believe the wireless technology that makes cell phones possible was barely invented....I think Sparta has to look at updating some of their laws...it’s too bad it didn’t go to court to find out what a judge would have ruled….in the meantime I won't stop in Sparta to check my Email....
