Velocity Micro Raptor Signature Edition

The F-22 is an overpriced and overvalued fifth-generation aircraft that needs to be put to rest. There are much better options for the USAF to pursue (F-35 for example). Nevertheless, it is tough as nails (when it's not grounded for maintenance - which is where it spends most of its days).

Same can be said about this rig, and the old saying holds true in both cases: all because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I have Avira (free version) as well, and I too have great disdain for the popup that repeatedly interrupts me. You mentioned the notification concerning the software update, but why is it important to view that (just curious)?

I was having the same problem on my old gaming system (Mass Effect would keep freezing up and I'd have to CAD my way through it). It ended up being that I had a bad memory stick. Changed it out and everything has been running smooth ever since.

AMD Wants Less Focus on Tech Specs

Posted 09/10/2009 at 07:52:23am

For the love of marketing, what has taken Intel and AMD so long with this idea? You think maybe it might be a good idea to speak the language of most consumers - you know, the people who have the money and are looking to buy? Just maybe?

What's so hard about marketing a product for both sides of the fence - the power users and the common consumers? The common users could reference the "watered down" specs to determine its functionality while the power user would reference the tech specs. Have both options available on every product. Marketing 101.

Incredible rig with awesome benchmarks, but for the same price I could take my family of 4 on a top-of-the-line 1-week cruise to the Bahamas, and still have enough money left over to purchase a 2004 Honda Accord with under 75,000 miles.

 Just saying

Of course, it's just a major hassle getting your system fine tuned, that's all. Like my "determined to drive me to an early grave" system I have now.

Can't wait for its release. Of course, I still need to find out what's wrong with my retarded, "almost makes me want to run out and buy a DELL" gaming system that won't run properly.

But that's another story for another tread...

Wolfenstein Has a Very Strange Money-Back Guarantee

It's actually not a bad marketing strategy. It drums up interest, and there will certainly be enough crack heads out there that will buy wolf with the hopes that it outsells one of the most popular games of all time. Free advertisement and increased sales. What more could you ask for?

By the way, I'm starting a fund for my son's college expenses and am only asking that everyone donate $1. Should the donations exceed the amount of tuition taken in by the university - I will refund every dollar I receive! What are you waiting for!?  =D
