Steal away the feds don't care. on
Breaking and entering with your... Wi-Fi card?

Posted 12/16/2007 at 04:33:10pm

I got a good laff out of the story. But due process was not allowed because of the following points. 1. No complant was called in for wifi theft. 2. The man was not offered any thing eles except the max for a crime he didn't comment. 3. It it must be a mistameaner in his state because he didn't even try to fight it. Note: under federal law. the man would have to have attemted to steal somthing from the provider. The provider didn't press charges. No complant no case. How did the cop even know which computer was out side. Even the feds have to prove this small simple point. He could (should have)been using a t-moble connet card. O well i guess the only way this will end will be when some one trys a case in court. SECURE YOUR WIFI OR BE PARPERD TO BE SUED OVERE FALSE ARREST. Tos binding or just a threat. on
How to Become An Internet Tycoon

Posted 12/16/2007 at 04:19:35pm

Most net users don't understand that a Tos is not binding to those other than the orginal user. Several things would have to be proven to say a user has broken the Tos. One the above menton unite could be used for outside service by the pool. If some one is going to jump on my connection then why not be able to charge him. Like McDonals does. They are not ISP sources like Mindlesspring or AOL yet you can jump on their wifi anytime your credit card will allow. The worse thing is that your account could be revoked but only after they can prove you are becoming an ISP. Then all you do is buy a ISP sub account from them and keep on making money. At least in Alabama we do understand that all they wont is their money they could care less what we do with the bandwith as long as they can not be sued over it. So cheer up take the chance that some one will pay you for the access. By the way with the limited access we have in small towns and county areas in the US high speed still means a dial up of 31.4 k. ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

I have used the free edition and the eveal editions. You will be given the full edition as a update on occasion. I reccomend that useres use it . It will revert to the free verson with no problems. when it runs out. The free version has saved me on several occasions. The newbe will be suprized when checking the programs using the internet. Blocking them is easy and complet. Gameres will find that by setting the no notification to always will be able to play and still have the safty of a live connetion. I reccomend it to ever one. I work on computers as a side line and install it along with AVG on ever one I repair. With the exception of Vista no major problems have been seen by my clients. roadtec@yahoo.com Herb Rogers MT South Maintaince Providing the Largest Impregnation Service in North America hrogers@magnatechmfg.com Maintaince Manger.
