How Fast Is Windows 7? Faster Than You Think!
Posted 12/24/2008 at 11:53:27am
I have yet to upgrade a computer to Vista that didn't end up being noticeably faster than when it had XP. For every computer that still has xp I spent at least 3x the amount of time keeping them updated, clean and working properly. You're right though, I must be making this all up. It coun't be that you just can't wait to advertise what an idiot you are.

"Dude, You're Getting a Dell" with Windows XP, for How Much?
Posted 12/11/2008 at 12:04:42pm
XP was never stable, and is such a pain to support. If I could I'd rip out every xp computer where I work and put in Vista computers. I've worked with Vista on numerous systems since day one and it's the most stable OS I've ever used.
Isn't how it runs a little more important than counting processes?

I do a clean install with my own install disk as soon as I buy a prebuilt. If I want to install a crappy tenth rate web browser, I can do it myself thank you very much.
