Cooler Master V8

Add a more powerful fan and you got one hell of a cooler (not saying that it isn't bad the way it is). Put one into it that moves lets say, 78CFM, then that is O_O

Or if you do not want any LEDs, you can go with one that moves 110CFM O________________O OH SHI-

edit: I am a heat freak. I hate heat. The cooler the better. I do not care if it makes a lot of noise.

The Future of Open-Source: 2009's Top Predictions!

I would love to see Linux become mainstream. Ubuntu and some of the others flavors are amazing, fast, stable, and highly customizable. It is a definate winner in my book! This would definately brighten the community and bring it more toward the light.

ATI Catalyst 8.12 Videocard Drivers Released Today

I am glade to see that this because I plan on getting a 4000 series. Now they would fix the flicker that has been plaguing Ubuntu 8.x and increase the performance in them. That would be nice.

Microsoft's Surrender to Intel over Vista Capable Requirements Angered HP, Pleased Others, Newly Released Emails Reveal

I have an IBM T43 with a Pentium M 1.86GHz processor and an ATI X300. It can run Compiz beautifully with very few problems. All the effects can be ran and they work just fine (some of them I needed to ajust but that wasn't bad). Aero could run on my PC but I chose Lin over Win

Nvidia Thumps Chest with Quadro FX 5800, World's First 4GB Videocard

Posted 11/10/2008 at 03:38:37pm

Look. A workstation graphics card is not ment for a dynamic environment like that found in a game. It is ment to be used for graphics rendering and make movies (like Ant Bully). I is also used to render models, pictures, and othering things of that nature. Stop being an ignoramous and go and read up on your hardware. If you are going to be a gamer, you need to know the differences in hardware. Just because it is rather expensive and has a bunch of neat features (like 4GB frame buffer) doesn't mean it will run games. If you want 4GB of fram buffer, go and get yourself 2 4870X2's  and you have yourself a kickass gaming machine and 4GB of frame buffer. No go and leave some rather usuful comments that are not ingorant. Money does not mean it is good in gaming.

Windows Growth Slows, are Netbooks to Blame?

You can have the horsepower that you want with a laptop running linux because it is far lighter and can run faster. you can also do much mor e with it. Most of the time I can do rendering and stuff with my laptop (an IBM T43) and get them done rather fast. I I hate how Windows can be so slow at times (even if you have fast hardware, it will slow down) and with linux, it almost never slows down (unless you much with it)
