I just turned the firewall level down from high to medium and it let me back online.

I'm the one who phoned in about the fried computer hardware and I can explain the power outages. While we do have the Falls right there for power, all our power lines and transformers are like 30 years old and constantly fail. Thanks for the help, I'm going out tomorrow to get the UPS like you guys suggested. Thanks for all the help.

How far back will these issues go? I have about a thousand magazines laying around that are held together by duct tape and this would really help. Is the any chance us n00bs will get issues going all the way back to the Boot days? And will The Murph ever rebuilt Fort Murph? Inquiring minds need to know.

Couldn't you just order the cheapest HTPC with an OCUR card and swap it into the next PC you build yourself? Then again what's the point if the card isn't worth the space it takes up?
