Warhammer Online Reaches 750,000 Players in Less Than A Month

Psychonauts was a stupid kids game, why are you guys so in love with it? I mean was it groundbreaking in some way? No, no it wasn't.
SecuROM DRM Reaches Space Phase, Decides to Conquer Far Cry 2
Posted 11/07/2008 at 09:43:08pm
Even if you buy the game and download a crack InSecuROM is STILL installed. It's not like Tages or StarForce where it's installed upon first run of the executable. I remember downloading a crack for Brothers In Arms Earned In Blood because of the SatrForce protection. As long as I didn't run the game first it wouldn't install. InSecuROM installs itself regardless even in demos!
EA Lays-Off 600 in Wake of Strong Spore Sales
Posted 11/07/2008 at 09:32:04pm
I fail to see how 2 million sales on 3 platforms on what is supposed to be AAA title constitutes as a success. Yes those numbers count the PC, DS and mobile.
Company of Heroes Dev: High Specs Lead to Piracy, But PC Gaming's "Death" Laughable
Posted 11/07/2008 at 09:24:12pm
What a joke to say "I tried to dl Mass Effect and ended up installing a nasty Trojan and some sort of fake antivirus scanner that disabled my primary one. Whoops, that'll learn me". I mean how typical of something some anti-piracy moron would say.
Either you two are total tools and just like to post lies and misinformaton because, well you're tools, or you have to be really, really, really, stupid to download a 668Kb .exe file and think it was a full game.
See with bittorrent all you have to do is read the comments and you'll know if it's real, fake or contains a virus. Usually after a few people mark the file as maleware it's deleted quickly, epecially on private sites but also on public user orientated sites like The Pirate Bay. On small private sites you have almost no chance of that happeneing.
Also if you have been infected with maleware and it disabled your antivirus software well then your anivirus software is JUNK! My AV Kaspersky IS cannot be disabled without uninstalling it. That means you can't kill it with Windows task manager and you can't just delete the install folder. It's locked.
Not that I triumph piracy but I can't stand it when tools like you post misinformation in message boards, forums and comments. Like anything in life actions take thought, if you go rushing blindly into anything your going to end up getting hurt, especially on the internet. So research what it is you're doing before downloadig whether it be Bittorrent, Limewire or whatever.
Seriously get a fucking life you two!
Marital Bliss: Nvidia Officially Announces SLI Support for Select X58 Motherboards

Alright Nvidia!!! Too bad no one really wants your expensive broken hardware anymore. I'll take a ATI 4850 512Mb or 4870 1GB over your garbage rip off parts anyday. Big Bang = Uncrippling your drivers, certainly you jest!
EA Engages Take Two in Super Secret Talks
Posted 09/13/2008 at 11:01:23pm
EA has no talent so they have to buy other studios and aquire their IP. They are going to ruin the PC gaming industry and then fold when they run out of studios to aquire. I Hate EA (Electronic Assholes).
Stardock Announces "The Gamer's Bill of Rights"
Posted 09/13/2008 at 01:23:53am
You know what? Companies like EA and Activision that release shit title after shit title deserve to have their games flop! They deserve to lose money. It's about time a game developer understands the way consumers are made to feel. Stardock backs up their word too. They don't force intrusive DRM down their loyal customers throats. It's not a gimmick if they have the balls to back it up. They understand that a pirated game doesn't equate to a lost sale. They understand that if you treat your customers with dignity and respect they will support you in return.
The most important thing that they understand that 99.9999% of studios don't, is that if you make a good game, a finished game without tons of crashes and bugs, without 2GB patches, is that it will sell good regardless of piracy. Other developers need to quit with the garbage games. That's the bottom line.
Fuck EA and Fuck Sony and their rootkit DRM!

I agree that this is a great alternative and well done tutorial.
Speaking of Partition Magic, that's all PowerQuest's IP that Nortoin aquired when they bought them out. Don't be fooled Norton makes terrible products and when they run through the rest of PowerQuest's ideas it's back to making garbage products.
