While this wont have any direct impact on me since i dont buy used games, i still think its outrageous.  Can you imagine buying a used movie and having to pay the extra if you want to see the last 15 minutes?

I'm not asking for the ability to play flash based games or anything to heavy, although it would be nice if i could watch something on youtube from the actual site instead of an app.  I'm dont think i'm being to unreasonable here, all i want is for my iphone to do today what my 266mhz PII could do back when netscape was king

This isnt some master hacker we're talking about, its not like this kid was sitting in his basement for weeks trying to hack the pentagon, he just reset palins yahoo password with information that anyone could find on wikipedia or the McCain-Palin website, if it wasnt him it could have been someone far worse.  I'm not sure he deserves jail time since no one got hurt (in all honesty he probebly helped palin by drawing attention to the hole in security), and at the end of the day he just read someones yahoo email....but it WAS the VP candidates email, so give him like five years probation and force him to wear a helmet from now on so he doesnt hurt himself.

As long as we're handing out stupid helmets, Palin should get one as well.  If she didnt use "personal" web based email accounts for government business this wouldnt be an issue, and if she bothered to change some of the security info to stuff that wasnt public knowledge this probably wouldn't have happened in the first place.

You've finally posted on your main page the very article that got me to hate "The List".  This thing reads like a forum troll wrote it and it has no business being in the magazine.  You claim that you  "dont have the room to do the best of the best justice" but some how you've managed to find space for something David Letterman is getting bored with, and in 72pt font as well.  If I want to read crap like this i'd subscribe to Maxim.

Oh and episode 3x01 to 3x04 of BSG were the best of the series, the rest of season 3 sucked, and season 4.0 was better but 4.5 is going to have to be amazing to make up for the love "quadrangle".  As a whole though its not overhyped especially when you consider that more people watched those crappy scifi original movies than an episode of BSG what it was at its peak popularity.

Yes in the week or so that spore has been out 77% of people only activated it on one machine.  But what happens a few months or years down the line when someone gets a new computer, or reformats/upgrades OS's.  And just how long is EA going to be manning the phone lines for manual spore activation?  Are they still going to support it two or three years from now? Or are they going to take the position that its not cost effective to "support" an old title leave every one who bought spore with a $50 coaster?

I would rather see nationwide free internet fail completely than to see our government activively "filtering" the net.  Leave net censorhip to the Chinese.
