Has anyone tried this with a 7200 rpm drive?
I had a Vantec Nexstar 3 / WD 750GB 7200 rpm HD for use with my SA8300HD DVR and it got almost too hot to touch! I didn't think the HD would last very long so I replaced the Vantec with an Apricorn enclosure that has an internal fan. The temps are MUCH better and the unit works flawlessly.
This looks like a quality product, I'd love to know how well it dissipates heat.
Do they plan one like this with a fan inside?
