Wireless USB Hubs: A Fool's Dream?
Posted 09/16/2007 at 01:39:07am
I have been using Linksys wireless router for about 6 months and then I started having trouble with it. So, I called the company and spent an hour on the phone with some foreign woman from the Phillipines, trying to get my router to work! But, after the hour was up, she decided to send me another router at no cost to me! But, when I did get the supposedly "new" router, I couldn't get the darn thing to work either! So, after another hour on the phone again with technical support from the Phillipines, she decided to send me another router, at no cost to me for shipping, but this time I had to pay for shipping for the first router, which I still had, to send it back! I did ask the support woman, if I could just go down to my local super store, and purchase one and send them a copy of the receipt? No, against company policy! Now, I have to wait another week for another router to be sent to me! But, this time, this new router will be new they said! Not reconditioned, like the one that they sent me! If this doesn't work, I am buying a Belkin home router!

Would the new router replace an existing router, lets say a Wireless-G 2.4 GHZ, or work with the old router? Thanks
