I remember the whole “Kick Ass” award controversy from back in the days of BOOT. I lost then, and I’ll probably lose this time. I’m still subscribed to the mag and I probably will still subscribe to the podcast. However, I would much prefer not to listen to profanity. Sure, it’s not going to kill me to hear some casual swearing, but I’d just as soon not. Granted, a well placed expletive can help convey deeply felt emotion. Most of the time, though, your use of profanity is juvenile and unnecessary.
