Cutting a Circular Window: Part Deux
Posted 10/20/2007 at 05:42:55pm
I would recommend that attempt to use the Dremel "Circle Cutter." It is a relatively cheap attachment & does a superior job compared to that done with a cutting wheel. http://www.dremel.com/en-us/attachments-and-accessories/attachment-accessory-detail.htm?H=188575&G=69679&I=69820

With the aid of a flat blade screwdriver, YES, the Zalman CNPS9700 LED HSF was realively easy to install on my A8N32-SLI Deluxe mobo. Nevertheless, several small lascerations resulted. A La Carte Cable
Posted 09/26/2007 at 05:46:32pm
Windowrattler: "When cable companies go to an all digital platform then ala carte would be possible. It seems that this lawsuit is jumping the gun a bit." It is my feeling that cable has been around long enough to visit these issues. Perhap, it may be do to a lack of competition. Interesting, ATT&T has resently requested permission to enter the "cable market" in SW Florida - previous, the exclusive domain of Comcast Cable.
A La Carte Cable

Although I was under the assumption that this issue had been resolved, apparently, it has not. Hotels get a special deal - basic cable + HBO. In order for the average consumer to obtain a "premium" movie chanel,e.g., HBO, one MUST upgrade from "basic" cable to "digital" service & opt for the "premium" channel(s) package(s). Discrimination you say! Yes, I agree.

I am not considering a new LCD until this issue is resolved.

Is Wiring Your Home Worth It?
Posted 09/07/2007 at 05:54:46pm
In SW Florida, we don't have to worry about crawl spaces. We have none. At 10 ---> 11 feet above sea level - maximum in SW Florida. There are no cellars or crawl spaces. At this time of the year, our attics are ~130+ degrees - function of the time of day. "Is Wiring Your Home Worth It?" I think NOT!
Gateway Mooooooves East - Far East, That Is

I have owned several Acer/Altos servers & they ran 24/7 without failure - SCO Unix OSes. Perhaps, PB & Gateway MAY benefit from new ownership.
