I think my air conditioner might use less power than those. If I did get them I think I'd have to buy another air conditioner just to keep'em cool

GameStop Delcares War on Steam?
Posted 01/27/2009 at 11:31:00am
I can understand why Gamestop wouldn't want steam on consumers computers. But for people who really wanted this game anyways they will just buy it on steam now, instead of having the option of buying it from gamestop. So now people will have steam on their computers and gamestop won't get any money from it at all; its a GREAT move. Plus if people really want it from retail due to the lack of hi-speed or the want of a hard copy they can probably go to wal-mart/bestbuy considering this is a THQ title. So bravo Gamestop you just eliminated some of your customer base.
Steam+Discounts=Great Deal
Gamestop+Discounts=wait they never have any

Circuit City Making Desperate Attempts to Avert Liquidation
Posted 01/12/2009 at 07:34:13pm
It doesn't suprise me that these guys are having trouble right now. In my area there is the circuit city and a best buy right across the street from each other. I went to circuit city the one day to see if they had any sales due to their current situations and then I saw the original guitar hero for ps2 for 40$ no guitar. So I knew then there would be no deals there, so I went across the street and saw everything was at least 5$ less. Unfortunately if circuit city goes under then so does the competition and of course prices could climb.
Developers Wage War Against Used Game Sales
Posted 11/13/2008 at 08:00:14pm
doesnt really bother me because i dont have a console. But if the developers really want to compete they would buy them back for more and sell them for less because lets face it Gamestop rips you off. They will buy a game for like ten bucks and sell it for like 30$ if its new and they can do it because there is no competition.
Budget Badass Buyer’s Guide -- Updated Prices and Parts For October 2008

So you can build a kick ass rig for 1500 dollars, very nice. But how about one for 1000, or a rig that would cost the same as a simple desktop and PS3(400+400=800). Or better yet a machine better than the Crysis warhead machine but for the same cost.

AMD’s new X4 quad core
Posted 03/27/2008 at 05:19:13pm
My question is how well will it overclock. What really put the Q6600 above the rest was the ability to overclock like a champ. If the new core wants to suceed it'll need some headroom.
