There was no need to try to bill this article as CPU vs GPU. The GPU:CPU price ratio quoted was only 1.9:1. Your dream machine 2007 was 1.75:1 and spent the Maximum possible amount on GPUs at the time (2x8800 Ultras). Other systems reviewed in the past have scored a MaximumPC 9 and had over a 2:1 ratio. Even your Zero Point system was probably right around 2:1. I would say 1.9:1 is pretty reasonable.
You spent so much brain-bytes on trying to spin this as a CPU vs GPU article that you barely got the important point across: this system is horribly OVERPRICED for the performance.
