Vendors are upset because of "modest gains"?  They should be happy for any gains at all.  The way the economy is doing, they ought to be happy that they are not experiencing a sales drop!

I guess that MS wants to appease the Brits by screwing the Americans.  If the situation was opposite, the Brits would complaining that MS was biased because they are based in the US.

Is this real or just speculation?  I agreewith JohnMtl that it would be more believable with proper spelling of the word QUALIFIED, but regardless, it may not apply to us here in the U.S.  Or maybe the leaked license agreement is a hoax altogether.  Until Microsoft puts out an offical release, I wouldn't list this as "NEWS"...

I buy a car, I like it.  It has a stereo factory installed stereo (IE), but I want an ass-kicking sound system.  So I get out the Crutchfield catalog and order up an ass-kicking system from ALPINE (Firefox) and move on.  People, I don't understand why people are so anal about all this.  It is their company, if they choose not to include a competitor's product in their package, then so be it...
