one month after I got my RMA'd pair back in the mail the right side died again. I don't know if it's the wiring or what but I am not doing anything with them beyond normal use. I love the how these sound but they've died twice in as many months. Also they squeeze my head a bit more than I prefer. I would recommend passing on these and finding something else.

These are as good as you say. Then two weeks after I received them the right side of the headphones refused to work. No amount of begging, pleading, or troubleshooting them seemed to help. I called up Alienware and they were very helpful. Besides having to ask the obvious questions aka "is it plugged in? Check your volume settings. etc." they let me return the defective product with little hassle. I haven't received my replacement yet, so hopefully it holds up a little longer than my first set did.
