Firefox Market Share Breaks 20%

I wish I used Firefox, but I'm using Flock, a alternative Firefox that has a way better RSS reader that no extension can match.
DRAM Maker ProMOS Seeks Government Bailout

RAM costs next to nothing these days. I'm not suprised if they're selling near or at cost. If you start a business, you wouldn't sell something you make for 6 dollars for 5, and hope it drives demand. It might, but you'll be broke by then.

One question. Where's the dual-core Atom?
Five Windows 7 Features that are "Steal-Worthy"
Posted 11/04/2008 at 08:34:48pm
Sorry to say, but unless I really misunderstood the features, some of those aren't really new to/necessary on the Mac.
The live thumbnails? Minimized apps on Mac are shown as live thumbnails in the dock. As well, having expose makes working with multiple windows awesome.
Libraries? There's something called a Smart folder. It's sorta like Smart Playlists on iTunes, but for the whole system. I have one for PDFs. They even allow multiple rules like iTunes does.
Play to and Windows Media Centre? Can someone explain this one to me? I'm going to give it a stab and say the Quick Look function is similar? (Tell me if I'm wrong. I do like to be enlightened.) In finder, when you press space on any supported app: (PDFs, HTML, QuickTime readable media, ASCII and RTF text documents, Apple Keynote, Pages and Numbers, ODF documents, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files (including OOXML), RAW camera images), it'll open right there in Finder. The Quicktime ones play right there (AVI if you installed perian, MP4, MP3).
Personally, I'm sticking with Windows XP right now, due to AoE2 (my friend's comp sucks...) but my next will be Windows 7, not vista.
$800 Budget PC Buyer’s Guide -- Updated Prices and Parts For October 2008

Well, the cheapest Intel Quad: the Q6600, is more than 50 bucks more than the E8400. Since they set the target at 800, they had no choice.

I've used both XP and OS X for a long time, so I think I shouldn't be considered an ignorant Mactard.
I'm thying this on a macbook. OS X runs better than anything else I know for some basic stuff. For example, expose is better than Flip 3d. You can't deny that. As well, I do prefer having a piece of mind when going onto iffy sites, as most viruses will be Windows Based (I still have Anti virus rinning.).
Maybe your windows malfunctioned and caused your caps lock to turn on at random. Or maybe you're just more fustratable because Windows pisses you off. I wouldn't know. My OS boots in 30 seconds to full functionality.
People have their preferences. Why don't people insult Linux? One of mac's biggest beauty is that there are less (not none, I know that) driver problems. *cough*Vista*cough*nVidia/Creative*cough*.
Don't forget that the MacbookAir now has a better graphics card than your baby Envy-133.
I will note that I go back to XP to run Office 2k3/Games I've collected over the years/Online games. I've tried 2K8 on Mac, it's counter-productive.

Windows Live Hotmail Wave 3: New Features Revealed
Posted 09/01/2008 at 08:22:45am
I still log into my old hotmail, just to make sure no old friends emailed me, but I fully use gmail. IMAP, POP3, what's the point in going back?
Just to mention, by allowing other email accounts to use MSN messenger, they shot themselves in their own foot, as there's no need for their account anymore.
