Wait, is this a x86 compatible tablet? It says atom processor, if that's the case then this thing has a shot. Sure its atom but there are some damn fine old-school games that the atom can play. Add a usb controller and you have an amazing little portable oldschool tablet.

Lets just hope this generation of Atom's turn out better then the past generations

"Lenovo's marketing the slate as..." - Not sure if that's an error. Isn't it Toshiba, not Lenovo? /shrug

Anyway, glad to see people haven't given up on Windows tablets. I want to see some good old fashion competition!

So, matching the iPad in price and size doesn't work, but matching the iPad Mini in price and size will? I'll stick with the iPad Mini.

This runs a full version of windows. So yeah it matches the Ipad mini in price and size but has significantly more potential.

Will just have to wait and see how this generation of Atom cpu turn out. If they're actually nimble this may be nice but sluggish like the old Atom :-(

Netbook hell all over again

It has less to do with price more to do with the fact that there are few apps that are designed for these or Android tabs. Read the reviews on TheVerge.
