Time Magazine Names Mark Zuckerberg 'Person of the Year'

Mark Zuckerberg, the multi-billionaire whiz kid responsible for the largest social playground on the planet, is Time magazine's " Person of the Year ."

Part of what makes the selection notable is that Zuckerberg is only 26 years old, which qualifies him as the second youngest person ever to receive Time's "Person of the Year" designation. Charles Lindberg, the first ever to be named "Person of the Year," was 25 years old when he received the honor back in 1927.

Whether you agree with Time's decision or not, Zuckerberg needs no introduction. As a co-founder of Facebook, the 26-year-old Harvard dropout was the focus The Social Network , a recent film chronicling the controversial rise of Facebook from conception to 500 million members strong.

No stranger to reaching milestones at an early age, Zuckerberg became the youngest billionaire in the world when he was 23-years-old.
