Not really all that excited. I had a lot of fun with BL1 but BL2 didn't really give me any motivation to keep coming back. I bought the season pass for it and only did 2 of the 4 add-ons.

I can only hope that their new writers undo the damage done to the series by Borderlands 2 in that regard. The humor went from being somewhat funny in 1 to "whaddya mean there's a difference between 'reference' and 'parody'? We're gonna back this here game to the brim with references and it'll be funny BECAUSE REASONS" in 2.

Also, we need more Mr. Torgue. He was the only piece of humor that the writers for BL2 got right 100% of the time.

I agree with you. I thought the "humor" in BL2 was pretty lame. They also tried to get humorous with the names of every single weapon in BL2, which was equally lame.

Sounds great. Not a whole fan of Borderland as-a-shooter, but I like the setting and the humor, so I'd probably love a more RPG-style Borderland game.

Not entirely sure how I feel about this. I knew one day Gearbox would license out BL.. I guess I was hoping that day would come far later than sooner. I just hope this doesn't put a stain on the BL franchise.

What happens when you combine two epic companies? = honey and milk!

I can't wait the game to come out! Which is pretty bad since anything I am hyped about usually performs pretty poorly. :)

Maybe your expectations are set too high?
