One of the (many) things Google announced during its opening keynote yesterday at its I/O developer event was Android TV, which is somewhat of an evolution of Google TV. This time around, however, there will be a much bigger focus on gaming, so it's no surprise that Razer already has something up its sleeve. That something is a micro console that Razer plans to release in the fall.

To say the proliferation of smart devices has adversely affected the sale of dedicated handheld gaming devices would be a gross understatement. A new handheld console at this stage, it would seem, makes absolutely no sense. Well, to a company called Steamboy Machine Team it makes perfect sense.
Says Kinect will remain a key part of the Xbox One experience
The original Kinect, despite its commercial success and popularity among hackers and enthusiasts, was mostly a disappointment from a purely gaming standpoint. To make matters worse, Microsoft decided to foist the Kinect 2.0 on gamers by bundling it with the Xbox One — even if it meant giving rival Playstation 4 a substantial price advantage right at the outset. But with the move beginning to threaten Xbox One’s prospects, the Redmond-based company finally relented and began offering a $400 Kinect-less SKU a few days back. As a result, a big question mark now hangs over the Kinect’s future.
Feeling some good vibrations in the KOR FX booth at E3

Roccat experiements with peripheral design for the living room
A portion of PC gamers are migrating to the living room thanks to hard pushes by hardware vendors to build small form factor systems that look like game consoles. We've seen it with Valve and its hardware partners (Steam Machines), as well as boutique builders opting for Windows-based PCs that can take advantage of Big Picture mode in Steam. What's missing, however, are living room peripherals. This is where Roccat is stepping in -- Roccat is showing off its Sova keyboard prototype at E3, so we stopped by to take a look.
Boutique system builder Origin PC yesterday announced the availability of Nvidia's mighty GeForce GTX Titan Z inside its Chronos line of small form factor and micro tower PCs, which the company is promoting as the world's smallest 4K gaming system. We had to take a look for ourselves, so Online Managing Editor Jimmy Thang made his way to Origin PC's booth at E3 for a video interview. Take a look.
Big time gaming performance from a small form factor system
Give credit to Origin PC for never letting its lineup of gaming PCs grow stagnant, including its small form factor Chronos option. In the past few months alone, the boutique builder added a micro tower option to Chronos and upgraded its internals with Intel 9 Series Z97 motherboard options. What's next? Try 4K gaming. Origin PC today announced the availability of Nvidia's dual-GPU GeForce GTX Titan Z in its Chronos micro tower, which it now bills as the world's smallest 4K gaming PC.
We've seen our share of suitcases over the years, but they're usually packed full of clothes and other essentials for travel. What if your destination is a LAN party in the next town over? If that's where you're traveling, it's not a traditional suitcase you need, but perhaps one that's filled with gaming hardware. Such a thing exists -- CyberPowerPC's Fang Battlebox is now available in a variety of configuration options.
Sentry Eye Tracker is supposed to analyze your eyeball movements to make you a better gamer
The key to being a better gamer lies within the eyes, or so that's the basic premise behind a new eye tracking tool by SteelSeries. Developed with the help of Tobii Technology, a major player in eye tracking technology, SteelSeries introduced the Sentry Eye Tracker at E3, which the company describes as a virtual, visual coach that tracks and analyzes eye movement during game play.
