Anyone who lives in one of the states hit by snow last night (hello Michigan) need not be reminded that winter is here. Be that as it may, Thermaltake has chosen to embrace the cold season rather than be a grump about it with its Commander MS-I Snow Edition computer case. That's really Thermaltake's fancy pants way of saying it gave the Commander MS-I a white themed makeover.
MSI is banking on you needing a new CPU cooler when you upgrade your platform to Intel's LGA 2011-based Sandy Bridge-E platform, and Thermaltake knows you'll need a new motherboard. With that in mind, these two new BFFs hooked up to bundle MSI's X79A-GD65 (8D) motherboard with Thermaltake's Frio Advanced CPU cooler in a single package.
The wise guys and gals over at Thermaltake rolled out a total of seven new "Smart" series power supplies. Three of them are modular, including 450W, 550W, and 650W models, and the other four are wired and include 430W, 530W, 630W, and 730W models. Modular or not, each Smart unit boasts features to help you "outsmart your bills," Thermaltake claims.
If you’re going to build a big, badass PC, you need a big, badass case to house that awesome 3-way SLI you’re planning on installing. The Level 10 GT chassis by Thermaltake is one such monstrosity. Yeah, its compartmentalized design is, well, not for everyone, but we still liked it enough that we gave it a 9 score a few months back -- despite its hefty $280 price tag. If that sticker cost was a bit too high, we’ve got some good news; Thermaltake has dropped the MSRP of the case to $200 through the end of November.
Ladies and gentlemen, overclockers and enthusiasts, meet the Frio Advanced, a big and bulky cooler that incorporates some of the most up-to-date CPU cooler technologies while still preserving the greatness of its predecessors, according to Thermaltake. Among the improvements to the Frio Advanced are extra welding points acting as headt collectors on the heatsink.
Thermaltake is trying to make it easier to go LAN party hopping with your full tower or mid tower system with the launch of the Transporter Carry Bag. It's roomy enough to stuff Thermaltake's Level 10 GT chassis and other similar sized computer cases inside, and the special polyester material it's constructed from is resistant to inclement weather such as rain, dust, and snow.
The Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 is a steel-construction, full-tower chassis, 22.4 inches high by 9.3 inches wide by 22.9 inches deep and weighing 27 pounds. Sitting mean and green (or red, or blue, depending on your fan LED settings), MK-1 combines striking looks with state-of-the-art features, all bundled into an affordable $160 package.
External hard drive docks seem to be all the rage in case design lately, and Thermaltake's new V3 BlacX Edition PC computer case is yet another example of this. It's an all-black (inside and out) mid-tower chassis constructed of steel with a metal mesh front bezel and bottom mounted PSU design, both with removable dust filters. The HDD dock sits on top and supports hot swapping your SATA storage device.
Thermaltake has never been bashful about bucking trends in case design and kicking out some truly funky designs, none more out there than the 
Thermaltake sent us a collection of photos and information about its upcoming Overseer RX-I chassis, a computer case that could pass as an evil twin to Cooler Master's HAF line. It has the same aggressive overall styling, but a more gnarly design that we predict will be fall under the love-it-or-hate-it category.
