Valve has announced that its In-Home streaming service is available to everyone on Steam. The feature, which has been in beta until now, allows Steam users to stream their games from one PC to another on their home network.
Gamers on Steam's digital distribution platform have shown a willingness to embrace the Early Access model, which entails paying for a game before it's finished and being allowed to play beta or even alpha versions in return. The developer then uses those funds to complete the title, and may take into consideration feedback it's received from Early Access gamers. GOG is also looking into the Early Access business model, but there are some hurdles to figure out.

Sales encourage gamers to stockpile more games than they have time to play
It seems like there's always a major Steam sale taking place. There isn't, but certainly Steam sales aren't exactly rare. These sales introduce big discounts to popular titles, both current and ones that are slightly older, and we often find ourselves stockpiling titles with plans to play them at a future date. Apparently that's a common practice, as a new report suggests that nearly 37 percent of registered Steam titles have never been loaded.
Valve has revealed a new version of its Steam Controller that will be shown at the Game Developers Conference next week. Revealed back in September 2013, the original prototype was going to have a touchscreen in the middle of the controller. Since then, Valve scrapped the idea altogether but has retained the two trackpads.
One thing you can't accuse Valve of being is stingy with its Steam platform. It seems there's always a Steam sale going on, making it easy to add to your games collection quicker than you can actually play through your titles. Well, guess what? If you thought Steam sales were frequent now, they could become even more commonplace now that Valve is allowing publishers to self-discount their games.
