All the headlines have been going to Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge CPUs -- When will it launch? How will it perform? When are the Core i3s coming? -- but AMD's preparing to roll out a new line of chips of its own before too long: the Trinity Fusion APU. AMD's been talking big about the Piledriver-based procs, and new leaked slides suggest that Trinity has been able to hit projected performance gains AMD bragged about during its February investor conference.
Few things set geeky hearts a-flutter more than the release of new CPUs. Valentine's Day may be a few days gone, but a leaked slide shows that AMD may try to woo system builders with the release of three new Bulldozer processors by the end of the next financial quarter.
Yet another leaked slide made its way into cyberspace, this latest one revealing launch details for Research In Motion's upcoming PlayBook tablet. According to the slide, which first appeared on CrackBerry, Office Depot will sell the PlayBook sometime in late March or early April for $500. That's for the 16GB Wi-Fi version, which stacks up nicely against Apple's 16GB Wi-Fi iPad, although the upgraded iPad 2 is just around the corner as well.
