Trinity-powered MSI GX60 Gaming Notebook Now Available

Back in September, we told you about the MSI GX60, an upcoming 15.6-inch gaming notebook built around AMD’s quad-core A10 series APU and Radeon HD 7970M GPU. Although MSI had revealed pretty much everything worth revealing about the machine back then, it let the laptop’s price and release date remain a secret, leaving those interested in acquiring the GX60 on tenterhooks. The wait is now over as MSI has begun shipping the Trinity-powered laptop.

GX60 If you just assumed your next high-powered gaming notebook would sport Ivy Bridge inside, you should take a gander at MSI's new GX60 notebook. This thing sports a potent AMD foundation consisting of a quad-core A10 series "Trinity" processor (A10 4600M) flanked by a Radeon HD 7970M GPU. On paper, it's a solid looking one-two punch, and just the beginning of what appears to be a well-rounded gaming laptop.
