Rumors of GTA V's cancellation on PC have been greatly exaggerated (or so we hope)
Given how long Rockstar Games has been dragging its feet in porting Grand Theft Auto V over to PC, it would have been easy to believe the rumor that it's been cancelled, shelved, axed, dismissed with prejudice, etc. However, don't you believe it. Not only was the rumor a bit dubious to begin with, but Rockstar put most doubt to rest by reiterating that it still plans to bring GTA V to PC.
Psst, Rockstar Games -- release GTA V to PC already!
Hype was high leading up to the launch of Grand Theft Auto V, and just like with previous releases in the series, it launched to console first with nary a word from the developer when it would land on PC. Heck, we still don't know when GTA V will finally be ported over to Windows, though some hints have emerged. A Danish retailer recently listed GTA V shipping to PC on November 14, 2014, though now it says something different.
Pre-order pages suggest a GTA V release to PC is imminent
Rockstar Games has stubbornly kept any possible plans to release Grand Theft Auto V to the PC platform close to its vest, but if history tells us anything, a Windows port is coming. Need more proof? Just direct your browser to some overseas online retailer pages where GTA V for PC is being flaunted for pre-order. These aren't just sketchy vendors, either -- Amazon.de is currently accepting pre-orders for the unannounced port.
