Cooler Master this week rolled out another aggressive looking computer case, the CM Storm Stryker. This latest model is a full tower enclosure and the second model in its class to include a sturdy carrying handle, just in case you want to pack this thing with high end hardware and then lug it around to LAN parties (or from room to room, as it were) "with relative ease." It's relative, because trying to carry a hulking computer case without a handle will test both your strength and agility.
There are more computer cases to choose from than you can shake a Shake Weight at, many of which are purpose built with a particular goal in mind, like sound proofing or extreme cooling performance, a pair of tasks that are often in conflict with each other. The new Switch 810 hybrid full tower chassis from NZXT is built with flexibility in mind for a variety of scenarios.
Like the God of Thunder for which it is named, Rosewill's Thor is a mighty full-tower chassis, with phenomenal cooling capabilities and enough power to smite the competition.
The Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 is a steel-construction, full-tower chassis, 22.4 inches high by 9.3 inches wide by 22.9 inches deep and weighing 27 pounds. Sitting mean and green (or red, or blue, depending on your fan LED settings), MK-1 combines striking looks with state-of-the-art features, all bundled into an affordable $160 package.
Thor had a hammer, and it was a hulking chunk of metal also known as Mjolnir that could only be wielded by those deemed worthy by Odin, ruler of the Norse gods. While no PC geek will ever get a chance to wield it, we can possess 'The Hammer,' the second name Lian Li has given its new PC-90 full tower chassis, which also happens to be a hulking chunk of metal.
