The folks over at TechCrunch stumbled across a build folder which likely belongs to the new Chrome OS Google is diligently working on behind closed doors.
In case you’ve been under a rock, the Chrome OS is a Google project aimed to break into the operating system market. They announced the project in July with a tiny amount of detail but it is clear this won’t be “just another OS.”
The folder they found appears to reference some information about a “touchpad” where it isn’t very clear whether that is your regular ole’ trackpad, or perhaps tablet device Google is testing their new OS with.
Come aboard the speculation train and check out the folder, see if you can find any interesting tidbits.
