Zotac's ZBOX line of itty bitty mini-PCs must be doing well; new models have been popping up on what seems like a biweekly basis. Nothing changed at CeBIT! Zotac spent its time at the German tech conference showing off three new ZBOX mini-PCs announced earlier this week -- one standard-sized Sandy Bridge-sporting model, another ZBOX nano offering, and a third with a Blu-ray drive.
The highly contagious ultrabook virus has claimed yet another victim, with Gigabyte becoming the latest company to announce an ultrabook. The Taiwanese company has announced two 14-inch ultrabooks at the ongoing CeBIT trade show in Hannover, Germany. Hit the jump for more.
Japanese vendor Fujitsu has shown no urgency whatsoever in joining the ultrabook fray. In fact, it remained mum on its ultrabook plans until it published its product roadmap for 2012 last month. The roadmap lists two ultrabook models, both scheduled for May. We now have a few details about one of its upcoming ultrabooks.
Motherboard makers are just as anxious for Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge launch as the rest of us are, and some of them have already begun rolling out slabs of silicon built around the Z77 chipset. Such is the case with Biostar, which unveiled its TZ77XE4 motherboard at CeBIT 2012. The TZ77XE4 is a socket 1155 part with native SuperSpeed USB 3.0 support.
