I installed this on my HP Pavilion DV6-6116NR laptop and it jacked it up! When it ran it's automated "FIXES" it blew something out of my registry and my keyboard quit working. I ran the back off or undo but it still didn't work. I had to rebuild my PC. After rebuilding it, I reinstalled System Mechanic and the same thing happened. I had to rebuild it again. Not using SM again. It's magical fixes are intrusive and you have no idea what's it's "FIXING". I now use Advanced System Care Pro and haven't had any issues.

I believe you need something that can optimize services for different usages, for instance, if you want to play games the software stops unnecessary services to make your gaming experience smooth. Then it should restore services functionality as before optimization. I found one software called Reginout that is giving this feature. Though, I will also try iolo on my other machine to test its performance and compare if its doing what reginout does.

That thought occurred to me as well.

I hope Stability Guard isn't inspired by the old Norton CrashGuard...more well known as Norton CrashHard.

An earlier version of SM destroyed my media center functions of my PC and forced a complete reinstall. Since then I'm very cautious about using all in one fixes.

I'm with you. Issues with SM burnt me out on it 10 years ago or so. I never looked back.

This is not needed on Windows. CCleaner is all you need! However, iolo does make a nice memory utility for Android, so kudos for that. ;-)
