I don't get it, how do these things cost 200 bucks? You can get a pair of AKG K240's for 60 or 70. My Sennheiser Hd 280's cost $99. It's like Beats, their products have the performance and quality of $20 dollar headphones yet they still charge $300 dollars for a pair. I just don't understand.

If they offer in black, I'm sold.

I take that back... A $200 price tag for these is just way too much...

My Steelseries Sibera v2 sucks compared to my Kraken sets I picked up two sets of Kraken's cause I thought they were prefect except they look friggin weird on my head. A bald guy with some Green Krakens could scare people. The problem I have with my Siberia is they don't have any Bass. Plus they make my ears ring at low volumes even.

I just bought a SteelSeries 3H VR headset yesterday for $20 (I bought it at Best Buy which was $30 minus a $10 discount). I'm hoping the build quality on these will last me a year. This headset just fits over my head after I extend the ear pad parts to max. I had debated whether to spend $60 on the Siberia series or half of that on the 3H. In the end, I'd figured they would probably break the same (if they do) and just went for the inexpensive one (there were only two left so I'd figured they were a popular option).

People that create products designed for regular use in close proximity to peoples' skin should probably note that white is the absolute WORST color you could pick. In 2 months, you would no longer have a white pair of headphones, but a dingy-white pair of permanently stained headphones that can't be cleaned because of the simple way that the natural oils on most peoples' skin and pollutants in air can easily adhere to and stain white plastic more noticeably than -any- other color of plastic. The same holds true for anything slathered in a glossy coat, with the addition of fingerprints and de-glossing through regular wear.

Steelseries is absolutely horrid. They take cheap materials and sell at outrageous prices.

The lighting system is kinda gimmicky, but as long as this stays true to its origin, with increased audio fidelity and microphone quality, then this'll sell tones. I am interested as to how this will stack up to its competition. This industry has gotten quite saturated and so many new comopabnies have started producing gaming headset.

I still prefer using a studio-quality headset and then buying a decent mic, though.

I really hope so, because SteelSeries is not particularly known for having much on an in-depth R&D department when it comes to audio fidelity. More than likely, "increased fidelity" means "We gave you a bigger, more expensive driver so we're going to mark up that driver another 50%." with no R&D put forth into the enclosure at all, which is where at -least- %50 of your apparent audio fidelity comes from in a pair of cans.

Not enough people know about SteelSeries. These headphones, (I have last years Siberia models) are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. I've gone through the list of top gaming headphones and nothing has been close, I highly recommend.

I agree labelkills. I'm on my 2nd Sibera V2 and love them. They're the most comfortable headsets I've ever used. I've purchased several high end headsets and for gaming, think Sibereas sound very good.

I agree that white is a bad color, but I'm still very interested in buying some of these new cans!
