SteelSeries isn't at all bashful when it comes to its Apex keyboard for gamers. Tossing modesty out a 20 story building into heavy traffic, SteelSeries claims its Apex is the world's fastest gaming plank thanks to its "superior design," which consists of low-profile keys, an optimized layout, and smart illumination. You might think such a keyboard would run $1 million, but it's actually priced at $100.
Woe is the user who has trouble making up his or her mind, as the Apex allows you to choose between 16.8 million color options. It also features Active-Zone illumination, a visual support tool that allows you to independently customize colors with up to 8 levels of illumination in each of its 5 zones, with up to 4 different customizable layers per zone.
Other marketing bullets include raised macro keys along the top and left side, two small tactile bumps on the W-key, anti-ghosting, an enlarged space bar, and swappable feet.
