The answer (in my opinion) is larger capacity SLC SSD's.

It's a pretty cool concept. If the algorithms work the way a layer 3 switch would with building routing tables based on traffic, that would be pretty cool.

I have to wonder, just how bad are "enterprise architects" if they have to use somebodies canned SSD caching system that has absolutely no understanding of the problem or even if the data is needed (TRIM tells it a little).

I'm torn between the idea of completely blowing off possibly the most critical optimisation tuning and the obvious idea that hardware providers are so inherently superior to "enterprise architects" that any failure to use this is an invitation to disaster.
