I got their 6TB on earlier this year. I've ripped nearly my entire DVD collection and it's still less than half full!

Maxtor serves me well for about a Decade and still works I think.

Bloody hell, that's nothing. I can remember getting my first computer with a 250GB hard-drive and was devastated to find it wouldn't fit in the shoe we lived in at the time. Yeah, we lived in a shoe, but if you tell the young kids today that story , they won't believe ya.

I can remember standing outside a Office Depot waiting for them to open so I could plunk down $99.99 for a new whopping 10GB Maxtor Hard Drive.

We live in good times.

10 MB for me started with a HP 7906 disc drive with its removable platter a foot across. 10 MB top in the platter, 10 MB bottom. It was the size of a dishwasher, weighed about as much, and cost $5-6,000 dollars.

You're old. My first was a 100 MB hdd on a Packard Bell 486 with 1 MB ram. Kings Quest 5 took up about 12 MB of that.

Meh, how long until I can buy one on Amazon for $300 though?
