SpaceChem, developed by Zachtronics, is an indie puzzle game where players build factories in order to create progressively more complex molecules. As a Reactor Engineer, players are tasked with designing chemical reactors that can collect raw resources and use them to create new chemical products. The game has a Metacritic score of 84 (PC Gamer gave it an 89) and has been praised for its challenging puzzles and engaging story.
