Details on MSI's version of new J1800-based motherboards
While several manufacturers have already put forth announcements about new J1800-based motherboards, MSI is now throwing its hat into the ring with the J1800I, a Mini-ITX board packing an Intel Celeron J1800 CPU.
MSI's version of the J1800 motherboard has two DDR3 SODIMM slots to accommodate up to 8 GB of memory, as well as one PCIe slot, two SATA2 ports, and USB 2.0 headers. The Celeron J1800 CPU is also a dual-core Bay Trail processor with a base frequency of 2.41 GHZ and 1 MB of L2 cache.
As far as rear I/O connectivity, there's a USB 3.0 port, a DVI port, an HDMI port, and two USB 2.0 ports as well as HD audio jacks and gigabit ethernet.
This news doesn't come coupled with pricing information or any kind of concrete details beyond specs, but rumors are swirling that the boards may retail around $60 when they finally release.
