Shuttle XPC H7 5820S Mini PC Can Drive Up to 16 Displays

Taiwan-headquartered mini PC outfit Shuttle Inc. has launched the new Shuttle XPC H7 5820S mini PC in Europe. This diminutive PC is only 19 centimeters (7.5 inches) in height, but has just about enough muscle to drive 16 displays at one time. Shuttle, in fact, is claiming the XPC H7 5820S to be one of the “smallest and fastest PCs ever developed.” Specs after the jump.

The XPC H7 5820S has the following specs:

• Intel Core i7 processor with up to six cores
• Up to 16 GB DDR3 memory
• Up to 2TB hard drive storage (2x1TB)
• Blu-ray burner
• Graphics Card: Matrox M91xx LP series (for 2D, multimonitoring)/NVIDIA Quadro series (for 3D, CAD/DCC)
• Connections: 8x USB 2.0, eSATA / USB 2.0 combo port, 2x USB 3.0
• OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional  (64-bit version)

From the press release: “The M-Series PCI Express (PCIe) x16 boards support up to eight DisplayPort or single-link DVI monitors at resolutions of up to 2560x1600 per display. A second M-Series card can be combined within the H7 5820S workstation, allowing system integrators to actualize a wide range of multi-display installations in corporate, digital signage, security surveillance, process control, and other professional environments.”

It is available now for a starting price of €1,446.00 (around $2,000).
