You know parents are the same, no matter time nor place; they don't understand that us enthusiasts need to micromanage airflow in our case. Yeah, we'll leave the lyrical stylngs of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince in the 1980s and focus our attention on what we know best: PCs. Still, the point remains, if you want to micromanage your case's half-dozen fans, NZXT's new Sentry Mix fan controller will allow you to do just that.
The Sentry Mix slides into a 5.25-inch drive bay and can accommodate up to six fans using 3-pin connectors. Each channel is allotted 50W, which is more than enough for whatever fans you're using. NZXT designed the Sentry Mix with sliders so that it looks like something ripped straight out of the club, hence our attempt at old school rap.
"Sentry Mix takes its inspiration from the legendary sound mixers that command the acoustics of rock concerts," said Johnny Hou,, found and chief designer at NZXT. "Mix puts the power right at your finger tips with optimal control and customization with a simple, quick slide."
