Many of you are waiting with bated breath for Intel to release its upcoming Sandy Bridge-E processors and can't wait to build an LGA 2011 system. If you choose not to, however, it won't be for lack of motherboard options, especially if you're a fan of Gigabyte. After posting spy shots of its G1.Assassin 2 motherboard, Gigabyte just sent us an email loaded with images of each and every X79 motherboard it currently has on tap.
In addition to the G1.Assassin 2, Gigabyte is also prepping its X79-UD7, X79-UD5, and X79-UD3 boards. All of these boards are ready to roll with Sandy Bridge-E and include 3-way digital power technology, four or eight (UD5) DDR3 DIMM slots, and at least three PCI-Express x16 slots (the UD7 and UD3 both have four). Other features include up to ten SATA ports, 7.1 channel audio, USB 3.0, GbE LAN, and other odds and ends.
Ogle the boards in our photo gallery below.
