All you Intel SSD 320 Series drive owners can stop banging your head against the wall. For one, it's bad for your brain, not to mention it's rude if you live in an apartment with neighbors. But more importantly, or at least just as important, Intel is finished testing new firmware for its problematic 320 Series drives and has made it available for download. See that, you're feeling better already.
The new firmware fixes the well documented "BAD_CTX 13x Error," the one that caused 320 Series drives to sometimes suffer from an identity crisis and report a scant 8MB of total capacity. The issue tended to creep up following an unexpected power loss, and didn't affect any of Intel's other SSD lines, including the X18/25 models.
Even if your drive hasn't been misbehaving, Intel "always recommends users download and install the latest firmware," just be sure to back up your data first.
You can grab the new firmware here.
