There are precious few things we'd turn down if they're offered for free, like the flu, jail time, and handerpants. Cooler Master is offering none of those things, but the company is giving away LGA2011 brackets to owners of its Hyper 212 Evo and Hyper 212 Plus air coolers so you can upgrade to Sandy Bridge-E without factoring in the cost of a new cooling solution.
The 'LGA2011 Bracket Free Upgrade Program' was previously announced with the release of the Hyper 212 Evo and is now being extended to the Plus model as well. To get yours, you need to be ready to provide one of two combinations:
Heatsink serial number and an invoice for an LGA2011 motherboard or processor, or
Heatsink serial number and a picture of your new LGA2011 motherboard or processor
You can request your free bracket upgrade by visiting here. Alternately, if you're in the market for a new cooler, Cooler Master says LGA2011 support will come standard on its Hyper 412 PWM model available only in CM's online store.
