Boards built around AMD's new 880G chipset are just now starting to appear, including three models Biostar introduced today: TA880G HD, TA880GB HD, and A880G HD.
All three motherboards come paired with AMD's SB850 South Bridge, which means native SATA 6Gb/s support, integrated Radeon HD 4250 graphics with support for DirectX 10.1, and HT3.0 support.
Biostar's new boards share quite a bit in common, including support for six-core Phenom II X6 chips, DVI and HDMI ports, a single PCI-E slot, and RAID 0/1/5/10. So what separates the mobos?
The middle and high-end variants also come equipped with Biostar's GTO 63 technology, which the company claims enhances system performance up to 60 percent or more.
