AMD today rolled out its E45M1-Pro micro-ATX motherboard built around AMD's Fusion-powered "Zacate" platform. Browsing through Asus' product pages, it's the only board we could find to come embedded with AMD's dual-core E-450 APU (accelerated processing unit), AMD's fastest Zacate APU to date with a 1.65GHz clockspeed and integrated Radeon HD 6320 graphics.
The board itself boasts a pair of DDR3-1600 (OC) memory slots with support for up to 8GB of memory, a single PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot (x4 mode), a single PCI-E x1 slot, two standard PCI slots, five SATA 6Gbps ports, an eSATA 6Gbps port, GbE LAN, 8-channel audio, optical S/PDIF, two USB 3.0 ports, 12 USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, HDMI, and various other odds and ends.
Propelling the E45M1-Pro out of the no frills category are a handful of higher end features, things like all-solid capacitors, built-in anti-surge protection, a Turbo Key to automatically overclock the APU, UEFI BIOS, and a large, fanless heatsink for quiet operation.
Asus hasn't announced a price or availability date just yet.
