
The 11.6-inch Acer AC700 Chromebook, which was originally scheduled to arrive on June 15, 2011 as the Cromia, is now finally available. Despite the reasonably long delay, Acer has only managed to bring the Wi-Fi version of the AC700 to the market, with the 3G version scheduled for release later this summer. Hit the jump for more.
The Wi-Fi-only model of the Acer AC700 is available from Amazon for $349, making it $80 cheaper than the Wi-Fi version of the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook. What’s more, there’s little to choose between the two specs wise: a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom dual-core N570 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB solid-state storage. Here are the detailed specs:
