Not all boutique system builders have the stomach to overclock, let alone selling a system that's been pushed to 5.7GHz. Not only is Origin PC boosting its top-tier factory overclock option on its Genesis desktop line, but it will be backed by lifetime 24/7 technical support for no additional cost, a change in support policy that applies to all Origin PC desktops and laptops.

"Starting today, every Origin PC customer receives free U.S. based 24/7 technical support for life, including current customers. Origin PC continues to lead the industry by becoming the first and only boutique system builder to provide free U.S. based lifetime 24/7 technical support," Origin said in a statement. "Anytime customers have a question about a game, application, or hardware component; Origin PC will be there to help."

Origin PC will begin offering its hyper clocked Genesis system in late Q1 in conjunction with its new "Origin PC Phase Change" cooling system, which will cool the processor down to a chilly -40C.

In addition to a new overclocking option and lifetime technical support, Origin PC went and refreshed the design on its EONS-15 and EONS-17 laptop systems with an "exclusive A-panel" featuring aggressive curves.
