A bottom fanslot that isn't code for "fanslot that your PSU will use for its discrete cooling system"? Interesting.

Correct. There are actually two fan grills on the bottom -- the one closest to the rear of the case is where the PSU will suck cool air in, and the one towards the front (right next to the removable drive cage) is where you can mount a fan for additional cooling.
