Did anyone actually watch the video? It's incredibly dumb and awkward
:-S
And the boy bragged about the shield being amazing because it has quad core with 2gb ram and 16gb of flash as if it wasn't a standard in almost every phone made since the last year.

And all is right in the GPU market!
Now, about those CPUs....

Great! Now I cant wait to see the benchmarks and price of the 6GB r290X AMD talked about that everyone seems to have forgotten about. It will have an even faster memory buss than the r290x. Cants wait.

Thanks AMD! Now I can make that upgrade move from my 660Ti to that shiny 780 I've been eyeing. Gotta love competition.

Thank you AMD! I'm still waiting to see what happens with Mantle and if NVidia is going to break out Maxwell before upgrading any vid cards. Also waiting for unlocked Skylake-E for a new system build. It is going to be a long lonely wait since Intel is not being pushed by AMD at the top end anymore.

Dont forget the R10 Zeus...

Unfortunately, NVidia won't be releasing the Maxwell GPUs until Spring 2014...nice effort for wishful thinking though :)

Regardless, thanks to AMD we green boys will get to enjoy the price cut of the GTX780 and GTX770s. $150 is a HUGE cut in the graphics card world. In fact, I personally can't remember the last time graphic card prices were cut so drastically. Enjoy it while it lasts! I can already smell Maxwell right around the corner...

...let the GPU wars commence, and may the odds be ever in the consumer's favor.

Very wise comments! This is a joyous day for both camps because we the consumer are the winners. New shiny!!!

That's always what happens when you have real competition. I am SO glad to see AMD back in the race. Whether you like AMD or Nvidia, you win. AMD supporters get what appears to be an awesome card and Nvidia supporters get better pricing and hopefully a more competitive card (780 Ti)

I was going to wait for Maxwell before I upgraded but I have to think it over now with AMD's refresh and now the price cuts. It's a good time to be a nerd.

I'd rather see them just take the board out of a Shield and put it in a little pico sized altoid case. Then price it at $99. But I'm guessing that it will happen with the Steam OS launch.

Enabling ShadowPlay on my EVGA 670 GTX on Win7x64 causes a BSoD sometimes, and the times it does enable, it won't record anything anyways.

I imagine there will be some growing pains unfortunately
