Sir Hobbes3

RNG thought his armor was angled good enough for a freak bounce. Lol.

Either that phone is way tougher than it looks, or it must have been something smaller than a 9mm.

Well shoot, if this plastic hunk of junk can stop a bullet then I should to be good to go with my "diamond cut aluminum" and kevlar-backed cheapy phone lol.

I guess this beats the whole "my new testiment bible that I kept on a small steel case stopped a bullet, so thank you jesus" story I heard awhile back. Still sounds stupid and embellished, though. As a guy who shoots pretty often, I can tell you that an old nokia joystick that I used to have couldn't stop a .22 fired from about 15 meters.

Surprised you haven't seen the "it stopped a bullet because I had the bible app installed" :D

Well you know what they say.

I dropped my iphone 6 inches from the ground, screen cracked.

Dropped my Nokia, 6 on the Richter Scale.

Phones don't stop bullets, tested, proven, they just don't, made by anyone. He's just damned lucky, and nothing more. Who cares what kinda phone it was :P

Translated text is always fun to decipher, but from what I gather, the phone deflected the bullet as opposed to outright stopping it.

FYI, there are pictures on the source website linked in the article of the phone and bullet..

This better be put in a Nokia ad.
