RUSENSITIVESWEETNESS

This site now reminds me of that old Computer Shopper magazine, which wasn't actually a magazine as much as it was advertisements pretending to be a magazine.

I miss the days of having more to read than just advertising press releases.

Why buy one of these for $500 when you can get a Bay Trail based 10" tablet running Win 8 Pro for the same price? RT doesn't make sense any more. Why sacrifice compatibility with all old windows programs for the same price? It made sense last year when there was a bigger price gap between RT and Pro but now it just doesn't. Bay Trail makes tablet prices make sense because you're getting the full functionality of a laptop for the price of a laptop. You don't get that with Apple, Android or RT.

Seriously no comments that its a surface clone? I'm not complaining since the surface has way better features than the ifad. I'm more sad about the fact that acer and lenovo can out full blown windows 8.1 in a smaller tablet and yet MS and Nokia can't put it into a larger tablet. Props to Nokia on the camera though! Would have be wicked if they crammed the 41mp in there!

I like it. What this blog leaves out is that the screen is a bright 650nit five percent reflectance screen which means it will be viewable in bright sunlight as well. Nokia also offers their Power Keyboard accessory which costs an extra $149, and promises an extra five hours of battery life plus two extra USB ports. Who cares that it is Windows 8.1 and not Pro, it is a good deal on a tablet of this size running Office. There are plenty of apps available for it, and this is a much better deal then comparable Android tablets of this size. Just have to see if it will work on Sprint's network.

Looks like a good tablet. Higher priced than Android tablets, but better features.

I think it will sell.

I don't see this selling well.

Well, M$ should feel better knowing that it isn't the only WindowsRT OEM anymore...
