i had a similar display issue after upgrading a hard drive. i messed with it for a week before i finally figured out i needed to manually up my ram voltage. i had a problem getting windows on the new hard drive so i flashed bios. that cleared the settings, and i forgot my ram wont run at stock voltage (1.8v is what it sets automatically) if you have 4 sticks, so after manually setting it to 2.1v everything worked.

troll via wikipedia ...In Old Norse sources, trolls are said to dwell in isolated mountains, rocks, and caves, sometimes live together (usually as father-and-daughter or mother-and-son), and are rarely described as helpful or friendly... lol

For the fist guy that called in with the video issue. Try changing out your display and or display cable.

I actually had a display issue that fried the cable and or the connection on the monitor for the DVI only connection, the VGA conneciton worked fine.
